Bingo Wednesdays – Fun & Prizes!
Join our volunteers at the community hub every Wednesday for a lively game of bingo. Great company, lots of laughs, and fantastic prizes to be won! 11.30am on Wednesday!

Join Us for Coffee Mornings!
Come along every Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM for a warm cup, friendly faces, and great conversation. A perfect way to relax and connect with the community!

Seasonal fundraising events

At Big Worle, we believe in bringing the community together while raising vital funds to support our local hub. Our seasonal fundraising events are a fantastic way to have fun, connect with others, and contribute to a great cause. Every penny raised goes directly back into supporting our community.

Summer Bash 2024
Last year’s Big Bash was an incredible celebration, with the Mayor of Weston-super-Mare officially opening the event. Families and friends enjoyed live music, a fully stocked bar, a bouncy castle, and more. Thanks to your generosity, we raised essential funds to help our community centre thrive. An incredible £1125 raised for the community!

Easter Family Fun 2025
For Easter 2025, we hosted a special family-friendly event with free refreshments and Easter eggs for the little ones. It was a chance to celebrate the season, spend time with loved ones, and enjoy a welcoming community atmosphere.

End-of-Summer Celebration 2025
Our final fundraising event of summer 2025 - Summer Bash 2025 - was an afternoon of live music, delicious food, a lively bar, face painting, and fun for all ages.

The Mayor of Weston-super-Mare opened the event with a lovely speech and introduced the first music act, with 5 music acts in total performing accross the afternoon. With more than 70 people in attendence, the event proved to be a great success to wrap up the project which has supported the Worle community for over than 10 years.

Big Worle funding has enabled Citizens Advice to run their services from the hub since September 2022, making the services more available and more accessible for all residents.

Food bank in Worle

The Food Bank in Worle started in April 2025 and has been great service to local residents in need of support. The Big Worle Hub has provided space for The Food Bank to open another location in Weston-super-Mare, granting access to food for the local residents.

If you have a food bank voucher, you can collect a weekly package of dry goods from the Hub. Each person is eligible for up to 10 packages in total. Vouchers can be received from referral agencies, which includes Citizens Advice, who run their service from the Hub on the same day.

Drop in on Thursdays between 1pm and 3.30pm!
